While it probably won't make a huge difference in the election cycle, I find it curious that there seems to be a lot of changes going on at the DPI.
D. Massy and G. Gronberg have announced their retirement dates for down the road from now.
Another 6 folks have resigned in the last month. And now I received word that the Deckers are leaving the department.
I have to assume that folks move in state government agencies all the time but this does seem to be a sea change.

yes i bet it is getting a little rocky at dpi, the water should be gettin somtwhat choppy for some people, a change is needed very much so in certain areas, hopefully that can be accomplished this election year, we hope so..need new leadership at dpi, and also some of the other mgrs. need to go..maybe it will be done..come now don"t you think...later
This is the best news we have had in quite a while! The sad part is that none of those people will result in a loss to the department. For North Dakota's children it really is time for a change. They deserve much better that what they have gotten - which is a bunch of excuses why kids do not perform well. Isn't it amazing that it is always someone else's fault???
