Everyone needs to track the "Race to the Top" grants and see if our State Supt. applies for one.....Also, we need to watch for comments from anyone in ND on the teacher distribution issue and, particularly, the teacher effectiveness issue. This one is all about pay for performance and evaluations based on student testing......It is highly likely this is comiong and we need to be ready....
Also, if anyone finds interest in this article... looking deeper into the Tennessee model would be helpful.....they are trying a value added data gathering system that may be a model for the future.
